Today's Try It Thursday is a side braided bun, in response to requests for side ponytail do's.
We do this style alot, especially after she gets out of the shower, because it is best done if the hair is wet.
Step 1: part the hair, we part ours off to the side.
Step 2: gather the hair into a low ponytail off to the right side.
Step 3: braid the pony all the way to the bottom and secure with an elastic
Step 4: roll the braid around, like you would a bun. Secure the braid with bobby pins as you go. Make sure to tuck in the end of the braid so that the little hairs don't poke out.
Step 5: Voila! Smooth down fly a way's and add your applique. Sometimes we will wear an elastic band with this hair do. Today we wore the applique as a clip and attached it just behind the ear in front of the bun. She is wearing a made to match Two Monkey's Designs applique. This design will be available on Facebook for a short time!
