Recently we teamed up with an amazing group of women for a photo shoot for the new bedding line from Addison's Wonderland. It was such an honor to be apart of this collaboration and I couldn't have been more excited then when I saw the finished product! The photos turned out so fabulous, not to mention the bedding, the outfits, the shoes... oh the shoes! Everything came together so perfectly. All of it came together thanks to some very talented and hard working Mama's: Addison's Wonderland, Missie Moosie Clothing, Nori Shoes, and Helmuth Photography.

Our "Carmen" applique is currently on sale, so I threw together a few ideas of what to wear her with. The first collection is for all you Mama's who have that little brown dress in your closet and you need something to spice it up a bit. I love the bracelet with its hints of orange that coordinate perfectly with the tangerine and wheat rosettes in the applique.

This next collection is definitely what I would dress my baby girls in this coming winter. The tights and the clogs are a perfect match for the "Carmen", when worn with little girl curls and clipped on one side.
Our limited edition made to match Matilda Jane pieces are almost gone!! We are quickly running out of fabric, so hurry or and grab yourself a matching applique before they are all gone :0)
Today's Try It Thursday is a side braided bun, in response to requests for side ponytail do's.
We do this style alot, especially after she gets out of the shower, because it is best done if the hair is wet.
Step 1: part the hair, we part ours off to the side.
Step 2: gather the hair into a low ponytail off to the right side.
Step 3: braid the pony all the way to the bottom and secure with an elastic
Step 4: roll the braid around, like you would a bun. Secure the braid with bobby pins as you go. Make sure to tuck in the end of the braid so that the little hairs don't poke out.
Step 5: Voila! Smooth down fly a way's and add your applique. Sometimes we will wear an elastic band with this hair do. Today we wore the applique as a clip and attached it just behind the ear in front of the bun.
She is wearing a made to match Two Monkey's Designs applique. This design will be available on Facebook for a short time!

It's about that time of year when we all are getting ready for the annual family photo that is going on the Christmas card. The final product may turn out fabulous, but getting ready for it can be a headache. Planning the coordinating outfits for the whole family is definitely a task. Good thing one of my most favorite things to do is custom work. I love designing pieces to match outfits. I love the freedom to design and create new color combos!
You can find out more about custom pieces here.
These photos are of my babies in their custom pieces that I made to match these adorable dresses that my MIL made. Seriously, custom pieces are so fun!
Itsy Bitsy spider went up the water spout,
Down came the rain and washed the spider out,
Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain,
And Itsy Bitsy spider climbed up the spout again.
Our "Cobwebs" applique is on sale this week for only $10.00!!

Since our extremely versatile "Adele" applique is on sale I thought I would put together a few ideas of what to wear her with. The first collection is for your sweet little girls. Even though my 6 year old doesn't go to a uniform school, doesn't mean I can't dress her in those cute navy jumpers.
The second collection is what Mom would wear with "Adele". Trust me, I'd be strutting this outfit any day! And because it's always important to me the cost of an outfit, I put together a few pieces that were money savers and then some other items that are more costly. My attempt for middle ground :0)
